Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Cogito Edge collects through this website, why we use it and the choices available to you.

Effective date: 31 July 2026

1. Scope and responsibility

This policy applies to cogitoedge.com and the services arranged through it. References to “Cogito Edge”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the operator of the Cogito Edge communication-coaching service in India.

Questions or requests about personal information can be sent to contact@cogitoedge.com or through WhatsApp at +91 788 972 3582.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:

  • Coaching session requests: your name, mobile or WhatsApp number, optional email address, communication goal, preferred date and availability window.
  • Campaign information: UTM parameters and landing-page variant submitted with a session request.
  • Newsletter subscriptions: your email address.
  • Quiz participation: the name you enter, quiz category, questions shown, answers, score and completion result. Your entered name may also be stored in your browser so you do not need to type it again.
  • Website usage: pages viewed, button and navigation interactions, approximate device or browser information, referral information, campaign source, performance metrics and similar analytics data.
  • Communications: information you choose to provide by email, phone, WhatsApp or Instagram.

Please do not send sensitive personal information that is not needed to arrange or provide coaching.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • arrange, confirm and deliver assessment or coaching sessions;
  • respond to questions and provide customer support;
  • record quiz results and show relevant feedback;
  • send newsletters or updates you requested;
  • understand campaign performance and improve the website;
  • prevent spam, abuse, fraud and technical problems;
  • maintain business, payment and compliance records; and
  • meet legal obligations or protect legitimate rights.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not use assessment or coaching details for unrelated advertising without an appropriate basis or permission.

4. Consent and your choices

By voluntarily submitting a form, you ask us to use the information for the purpose stated near that form. You can choose not to provide optional information. If required assessment details are not provided, we may be unable to arrange the requested session.

You may unsubscribe from marketing email, withdraw a prior consent, or ask us to stop an optional use by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed or records we must retain for legal purposes.

5. Analytics, cookies and browser storage

The website uses Google Analytics to understand page visits, navigation, campaign performance and technical performance. Google may set or read cookies and process technical usage information under its own terms.

The quiz uses browser local storage to remember the name you enter. The website also uses temporary session storage to remember which on-site booking button led you to the booking page. This booking-source context does not contain your name, phone number or email address and normally clears when the browser tab or session ends. You can remove stored information by clearing site data in your browser. Blocking analytics cookies or browser storage may limit measurement or convenience features, but core informational pages should remain available.

6. Service providers and external services

We use service providers to host the website, process form requests, store submissions, measure website usage and operate communications. This includes Supabase for database and form infrastructure and Google Analytics for website measurement. Providers process information under their own terms and our instructions where applicable.

If you choose links to WhatsApp or Instagram, those services receive information according to their own privacy policies. Some providers may process data outside India, subject to applicable legal requirements.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, to provide services, maintain necessary business records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and comply with law. Newsletter information is retained until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion, subject to minimal suppression records where necessary.

When information is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymise it where reasonably practicable, unless retention is required by law.

8. Your requests and rights

Subject to applicable law and reasonable identity verification, you may ask us to provide information about our use of your data, correct inaccurate information, delete information no longer needed, or address a grievance. You may also nominate another person to exercise applicable rights where the law permits.

Send a request to contact@cogitoedge.com. Include enough information for us to locate the relevant record, but do not send passwords, identity documents or other sensitive material unless we specifically and securely request it.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

10. Children

A parent or lawful guardian should submit information and manage the relationship where a learner is under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorisation, contact us so we can review and remove it where required.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The current version and effective date will be published on this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or an appropriate contact channel.
